I love the Rockies!!!!

Alright, here's the deal.... My dad and little brother (HUGE Rockies fans) are flying down from Alaska to go to the World Series....IF I can get tickets! I'm working on $400/seat tickets in the RockPile for Sunday's game. How about some free tickets for Saturday's game?! I say yes!

In any case, for entering me in the drawing, I have written you a poem. Please read the below (yeah, I wrote it last night, but it still mostly works....)!

Twas the night before the World Series and all through the nation
People were excited, filled with anticipation!
The Rockies were in Boston, ready to play-
Todd Helton was amazed that this was the day!

The fans were gathering 'round TV screens
to watch the Rockies live out their dreams.
And the threat of rain during this game one
Couldn't put a damper on their fun.

As any fan knows, it's been quite a season
The Red Sox are nervous, and with good reason!
The Rockies have had a shaky past,
but now they're on a roll, and it's gonna last!

A fact I'm sure I don't need to mention,
but the Rockies were once 6 games out of contention
The Padres were set for a Wild Card slot,
Then the Rockies got going, and boy were they hot!

They battled the Padres through 13 innings
They knew exactly what they'd be winning!
The Rockies deserved it, they really fought hard
And they got the title: National League Wild Card!

But this was just the beginning of their streak
They were doing great, just reaching their peak!
The training and practicing was really making it clear:
Watch out MLB, ROCKTOBER IS HERE!

They swept the Phillies without looking back
Then geared up for the Dbacks, ready to attack.
They swept it again, and earned new recognition
National League Champions, what a position!

Believe or not, the Rockies had done it-
Made it to the League Championships and won it!
The were of to the World Series, happy as could be,
With Matt Holiday was National League MVP!

Their record was awesome, the pitching amazing,
their throws were great, their bats were blazing.
Keep the energy up for these two games away,
then show your support on Saturday.

Sunday's the day, so wear your purple and black....
It's game 4 of the series, there's no turning back.
The Rockies can sweep them, I have no doubt,
So on Sunday be ready to scream and shout!

The stands will be filled, the energy level high,
The players will be screaming, with fireworks filling the sky....
And you'll hear the crowd yell as they all give a cheer,
"Let's go ROCKIES! You swept them! Can't wait for next year!"
