About Me

I have been a Rockies fan my entire life, and I have only been to Denver twice. I first became a fan on June 25th, 1994 while on a family vacation out West. It was the first baseball game I have ever been to. We were at Mile High Stadium and watched the Rockies defeat the Giants 6-4. I was a life long fan ever since.

Now, with me living in Western NY, I put up with a lot of crap for being a Rockies fan. "Who the hell are the Rockies?" was a commonly asked question. I have worn the hat and supported my team through countless Yankees World Series victories, proclaiming that the Rockies will soon be on top. 13 years later, here I am. My entire desk is full of Rockies newspaper clippings from the Yankees and Mets sweeps earlier this year. I have bought mlb.tv every year it's been around so I could watch them everyday. The best part of this amazing run was educating everyone of who the Rockies are and their history.

October 1st was one of the happiest day of my life. It was almost 2:00am local time when I was screaming jumping around the house, waking up the roommates upstairs. We had finally made the playoffs. And it's not over yet.

Last week I booked flight and hotel arrangements for Denver. I had to while rates were low, even though there was a small chance of getting tickets. I wasted almost 7 1/2 hours of work trying to get them Monday and Tuesday. Alas, no tickets.

I can't afford the $800+ that scalpers want for a ticket. All I want to do is cheer on my Rockies at Coors Field with 50,000 Rockies faithful rather than watch it in some crappy bar in New Jersey. Please, please, please select me, one of the True Rockies Fans from the beginning.
